| Aleolus04-12-08, 11:44 PM | I have a friend who's writing up a NE Cleric for a campaign. She has the Deathborn domain (Libris Mortis) and took the feat Improved Undead Control (also Libris Mortis). She says that the effects from the two of them stack, which I don't think they do. The DM has already allowed them to stack, so it's a moot point, I'm just curious if they do, per the books. |

Personally, I don't think Deathbound's the way to go for a really twinked Necromancer, so let her get away with it. Improving the limit of how many undead you can control always stacks unless it's from the same exact source as they aren't a specific "type". |

Wrong book, you can't use the Deathborn domain from Libris Mortis (it doesn't officially exist in that book any more.) Get the HoH or the Spells Compendium version. The errata also makes it match (iirc) the newer printings. There is no feat in any WotC book called Improved Undead Control, so no one can help you with a 3rd party book. Anyway, the way Deathbound is written it is unlikely to stack with any other ability that increases the number you can create. |
