Deflect arrows question(s) [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-14-07, 10:53 PM Is there a feat that will allow you to deflect arrows with a weapon? I like the concept of the feat, but I also like having either a shield or two handed weapon. Also, I didn't quite understand the description of it...do you need to do a roll for the deflection, or is it just automatic? And last question, is there an additional feat that'll allow you to deflect more than one arrow? Thanks!

06-14-07, 11:13 PM Deflect Arrows used to require a Reflex check, but it is just automatic once a round in version 3.5.

There is a feat that allows you to deflect one arrow per round with a shield, but I can't remember the name.

More than one? Not sure.

06-14-07, 11:23 PM There's a feat in a non-WotC book called "Armed Deflect Arrows," and it's just what it sounds like.

There's a feat in a Dragon or Dungeon somewhere that lets you deflect multiple arrows. It has Combat Reflexes as a prereq, and each arrow deflected after the 1st counts as one of your AoO's for the round.
