| Suppoko04-01-07, 08:11 PM | I know there is one called superior finesse in AEG orange feats book BUT that book is terribly overpoweredand gettting things approved from it. So I am hoping there is a feat in a differnet book? :) Please help anything would be great. |
| Richmud04-01-07, 09:00 PM | Tome of battle has a feat called shadow blade which allows you to apply dex to damage with shadow hand weapons while in a shadow hand stance |
| Tempest Stormwind04-01-07, 09:09 PM | I wonder how many different threads on this board could be solved by a permanent link to this thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=320889)... |
| Palomides04-01-07, 11:08 PM | if all weapon were dex to attack, strength to damage :P and maybe half strength to attack + half dex to damage :D |
| Captain_Kobold04-02-07, 12:02 AM | For ranged combat, I believe there is a feat that allows you to add your dex bonus to damage. Might just be within 30ft though. Been wracking my brain, but can't recall what it is called or where I saw it. Sorry. In melee, you are unlikely to find an official feat that does this. The fundamental mechanic of melee in DnD is that strength improves chance to hit, and the damage done by a hit. Weapon finesse allows you to use your dex to hit with some weapons, but strength always determines damage. If you are after extra, precision based damage, it sounds like you might be better off considering a few levels of rogue for the sneak attack, or duellist. |

There's also a few feats from Dragon. In melee, you are unlikely to find an official feat that does this. Seriously, I linked a HUGE list above that covers all six ability scores, and I (and others) post it frequently on topics that are another rehash of "Can I add [ABILITY] to [BONUS]"?. Do people just not read things hidden behind links anymore? |
| DarkRhystar04-02-07, 11:51 AM | Do people just not read things hidden behind links anymore? Come on, a lot of people make threads because they're too lazy to actually go look for the answer. Clicking a link is almost like looking; it's exactly 5% more effort than most people want to spend. Heck, I haven't even clicked it yet... although I'm betting it's the X STAT to Y BONUS (http://boards1.wizards.com/leaving.php?destination=http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php%3Ft%3D320889) thread. Have no fear, I will eventually click it and look and I bet someone else will too. |
