What do you guys think of this feat. A player of mine made it up and wants to take it. I see no inherent problem with it, but I wanted to run it by the wider community to see if anyone else thought there is a good reason to disallow it.

Intelligent Persuasion
Use your Int modifier instead of your Cha modifier when making Diplomacy checks.

I would say that is such a benign feat that it is fine to allow.

It looks fine and has a lot of precedent. Tactile Trapsmith uses Dex instead of Int... Zen Archery uses Wis instead of Dex... I know there's others, but I have a poor memory sometimes.

Agile Athlete uses Dex instead of Str...

For this new one, I might suggest a slightly different name. Perhaps "Intellectual Debater"

Most feats like that give the bonus to 2 skills, I can't see a problem with letting it apply to diplomacy as well as intimidate or maaaybe bluff.

See the X stat to Y Effect thread. Has tons of things like that. Hardly overpowered...probably even a little weak. I'd buff it up and make Diplomacy a permanent class skill.
