| Operation_Shoestring04-19-08, 01:34 AM | I'm working on a class and I was thinking of giving it an abilty to ready a paladin spell as a manuever. What do you think? Should it be a times per day thing or not? Any paladin spell? How are you handling duration? will it be treated as a strike or a boost? MOAR INFORMATION PLS. |
| Mad_Jack04-19-08, 02:42 AM | I would think that a paladin-spell "maneuver" would probably (depending greatly on the spell in question) be a boost granting the character the effects of the spell for one or more rounds, probably as a temporary spell-like ability, although depending (again) on the spell, it could be supernatural like the Shadow Hand teleport maneuvers... Are you thinking of a particular spell? Which spell you want to use should be the factor used to determine how long it should last and how often you get to do it... |

And yes it is any paladin spell but they would have access to a selection at a similar rate to the paladin. Duration would be identical to the nomal spell, except it would end automatically when manuevers were readied again. |
