My DM and I are debating the feat Divine Metamagic. The crux of the debate is the vague feat description and lack of additional information (if any is needed) as to what you need to have to qualify.

If I'm reading the feat corretly, you don't have to have the metamagic feat that you would like to use with Divine Metamagic prior to taking Divine Metamagic. The prerequisites only state that you need to be able to turn or rebuke undead, which indicates that you could take the feat at level 1 and be able to utilize Maximize Spell on any spell you can cast, albeit a small number of times. Is this right?

Check the Errata for Complete Divine. It might answer some of your questions.

The feat has been errated.

You need to previously have taken the metamagic eat you want to Divine-icize

Ah, I missed it in the PDF when I pulled it up, but I see it now. Thanks for the info.

but if you are a human, you could still take maximize spell and divine metamagic at first level to maximize your first level spells.
