| DrRufio07-08-07, 12:45 PM | So I see a lot of people here say this feat from complete divine is overpowered, particularly when combined with persistent spell; however, I have a question about its mechanics and not its power. First, do you need to know the corresponding metamagic feat that you want Divine Metamagic to apply to, or can you just take the Divine Metamagic feat and apply it to any metamagic feat regardless if your character has the feat or not. As written it seems like you don't even need the metamagic feat (such as empower spell, for example) to set Divine Metamagic to that metamagic feat. Also, can you use the feat to quicken spells? It says it takes a swift action to expend the turn/rebuke attempts to use the feat, but the quicken spell feat is before swift actions, so a swift action and free action in a turn would be acceptable i believe, and two swift actions would not work, but should I consider a quickened spell a free action or a swift action now? Thanks |

Also, can you use the feat to quicken spells?Quickened spells are swift actions, BUT using DMM is actually a free action, not a swift action, so yes, yes, you can. |
