Looking at the Complete Divine, the feat DMM does not specify that the spell you use DMM on has to a divine spell. Does that mean if I also know an arcane spell I can use DMM to fuel metamagic on say...Improved Invisibility or something?

The errata specifies divine spells.

Otherwise, Sacred Exorcist would become the best arcane prestige class ever.

Why do you say that?

Because an arcane caster can get into the prestige class which not only will improve his arcane casting but also gives Turn Undead, which would allow an arcane caster to use Divine Metamagic if divine spells were not so specified.

Anyway, what a cleric could do, I think, is to have the Spell domain, which provides the spells Anyspell and Greater Anyspell. Those spells allow the cleric to pick arcane spells to cast as divine spells. Then those spells can be used for Divine Metamagic.

Can I use DMM: Quicken when I lose a spell to spontaneously cast a cure spell as a swift action?

Not without Rapid Metamagic, becuase it takes a full round action to apply metamagic spontaneously, meaning you can't quicken.

Above poster would be correct, if it wasn't for the fact that DMM specifies that it doesn't change the time. Hence, a quickened cure spell is a "free action that can only be done once per round" (they still haven't errata'd it as a swift action, last i heard)

It says nothing about changing the time to cast the spell. So it does not change the time.

A spontaneous spell with a metamagic feat applied requires a full-round action. Divine Metamagic does not say anything about changing it.

Do you guys know if feats like Metamagic school focus and Arcane Thesis interact with DMM? If I try to DMM: Reach spell on a Heal spell and I have Arcane Thesis (Heal), do I only spend two turn attempts to Heal at range?

I don't know where Metamagic School Focus is from, so I answer that one. Arcane Thesis, however, requires you to select an arcane spell, meaning DMM doesn't apply.

MSF is from Complete Mage I believe. 3 tims per day, reduce metamagic cost by 1 for spells of that school.
