| soadfreak21308-12-07, 04:05 PM | Ok, let's say im a monk with the kung fu genius feat and i prestige class as an invisible blade or a duelist, does the int bonus to armor class stack? Also, if my DM let's me double Prestige class, and i am both an invisible blade and a duelist, does the int bonus to AC for those stack too? |
| Watsyurname52908-12-07, 04:07 PM | You get your INT bonus to AC once, therefore it can't stack anyway. If your INT bonus changes then your AC changes accordingly. |
| EvilVegan08-12-07, 04:10 PM | Depends on what type of bonus it is. If its a dodge bonus you're golden, if it doesn't specify a type you're golden. If they're all insight bonuses you're not so golden. I just read over them, I don't see why not. So that's your int modifier X 3 to AC. Unless someone can show you can't add the same ability modifier to the same thing multiple times. I know the duelist bonus will stack regardless, because it doesn't add to your AC, it adds to your dexterity bonus to AC. It piggybacks to your AC with your dex. Invisible blade just adds directly to your AC, like a monk bonus does. So its X2 or X3 depending on how your DM does stacking or whatever rules someone can quote for us. Stephen Hawking should be a Kung Fu Genius Monk/Duelist/Invisible blade. |

| TorgSmackie08-12-07, 04:36 PM | Stephen Hawking should be a Kung Fu Genius Monk/Duelist/Invisible blade. Flaw: HELPLESS You are completely unable to defend yourself. Your effective Strength and Dexterity scores are 0. You cannot speak. You may be able to make very small, weak motions with one or both hands, or take entirely mental actions, but you cannot do anything physical, such as travel under your own power or make attacks. He could be a psion. |
| Staple08-12-07, 08:16 PM | There was a question like this in Ask Wizards, regarding Swordsage and Monk bonuses stacking. They said that if the ability granting the bonus has the same name and the same effect, it doesn't stack. Also, if the bonus types are the same (as mentioned above), they won't stack unless they're dodge bonuses. |
