I would like to cumulate our knowledge here to see how much we can bend the system into applying dexterity to everything. As is, you apply Dexterity to ranged attacks, AC, Reflex Saves, and some skills (balance, hide, move silently, open locks, ride, sleight of hands, tumble, use rope, any I forgot?). As I can recall, below are the feats that can apply dex to something else: *Weapon Finesse (feat): instead of str for melee attacks of light weapons, rapier, whip, spiked chain?, others? *Agile Athlete (feat): instead of str for climb and jump *Dexterous Fortitude (3.0 epic feat w/o errata): roll reflex instead of fortitude 1/rd *Dexterous Will (3.0 epic feat w/o errata): roll reflex instead of will 1/rd *Crossbow Sniper (feat): apply dex to damage on crossbow attacks (within 30 feet IIRC) OK...Anyone else think of others I have neglected? They can be feats (epic/standard), special abilities, skill tricks, bald faced lies...k wait, no bald faced lies. |

In fact, the thread is titled "X Stat to Y Bonus". http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=320889 |

| jadehawk03-28-07, 11:30 AM | Thanks guys, Though it may be missing some more "creative" methods like the epic feats I brought up in my first post. Dexterous Fortitude and Dexterous Will don't have you applying Dexterity to some other save; but they do something similar. Once per round you can roll a reflex save instead of a fort or will respectively. I suppose they don't have them included because it doesn't apply all the time? Or perhaps its because its an epic feat? It doesn't look like it is because the feats are 3.0 because there are other 3.0 feats on their list. |
