I'm looking for a Feat that will allow for the full strength bonus to be used on off-hand attacks.

Given the enormous # of books I'd assume it's out there somewhere, but where. I don't care if it's 3.0 or 3.5

But I'm only interested in hearing about a source if it's by WoTC. If it's by some other company, don't even mention it.

that's a fundamentally broken concept, it would allow you to get 2x your str bonus on overall damage (1x on main hand and 1x on off hand). 1.5x your str is sort of a sacred cap off. 1.5x your str with a 2handed weapon, or 1x with main and .5x with offhand.

the feat your looking for wouldn't exist.

Actually, it exists.
It's not a feat though - it's a class ability of the Bloodclaw Master (if that was the name...) from the Tome of Battle.

It's not as bad as you may think - already an Exotic Weapon Master can get 2x str on damage (uncanny blow), and on a TWF fighter such an ability only allows you to roll all the attacks at once (if using identical weapons, and hitting only 1 foe).
Gives a "natural weapon" feel to your attacks, in the end - but does little good, as you already need high dex (for pre-reqs), and need con more or less as much as str.

:ahem:

He was looking for a feat. So no it doesn't exist. There may indeed be class abilities that allow such a thing, class abilities typically defy such classical limits as they see fit. :teach:

Feats are the weakest of the ways to get things.

In order they are:

Feats
Class abilties
prestige class abilities
Epic feats
Epic class abilities
epic Prestige Class abilities

-----

Generally anything that is already granted by something lower on the list should NOT be granted by something higher on the list, without weakening it a lot.

Honestly, there is rarely a good reason to let someone take a class or prestige class abiltiy with a feat. It destroys the specialness of the class.

Better to give them something 1/3 as good as the abilty.

i thought with the ambidexterity feat you didn't have an off hand for damage?

With Ambidexterity (that no longer exists, it's a 3.0 only feat) you get more favourable bonuses to hit (it followed a chart...), but damage stays the same.

Jade... it was (of course :P) poetic license.
Too bad now they took my license away...

Well, I guess Jadespider wins due to being the only one who actually answerd my question. Thanks Jade....

To the rest of you (save for maybe Kaikai, who was somewhat helpfull as well - though he didn't site where I'd find ambidexterity....); I asked a simply yes or no question concerning wether or not WoTC had ever printed such a feat.
And then asked where I would find it if the 1st answer came back a yes.
That's ALL I wanted.

Not a discussion of what you think of it, not a discussion about game mechanics, or other base/prestige classes, not a discussion about game design....
Just a Y/N answer with maybe a "It's located here".

The answer is ... maybe.

Damn, I'm bad at this game. Let's try again.

The answer is ... nay.

>_< Dammit, that wasn't a choice. Well, third time's the charm.

The answer is ... no.

Yay! I win!! :D
