So we all know about The Radiant Server of Pelor and the mega heals with spells of the Healing Domain. Now I dont remember if that aplies to the domain spells inb the domain slot... or to any spell of that list u can spntaniosly cast. So if it doesent then can you use Domain Spontianity off of the PHB2 to be able to cast those mega heals all day long?

I play it as it applies to any spell you cast that is on that domain list. But it's kind of ambiguous, and I don't think there was an FAQ or Errata that covered that. This is a 'set up argument with your DM and debate it' issue. If you are the DM or desire a more official answer, you're out of luck, just use judgement: I find it balanced (by RPing) to allow it to cover all healing spells on that list, and so does my DM. Unless someone can come up with an FAQ or Errata that covers it, of course.

When I'm playing a Radiant Servant, and when others play them in my games, I've always ran it as applying only to the spells from your domain slot. I've never heard someone suggest that it apply to all the healing domain's spells, and I think it would be somewhat overpowering to do so.

I haven't had a problem with power from it. At least, beyond the fact that you're a cleric and all. Then agian, a lot of people feel that RP requirements don't do much (look at the exalted and vile stuffs), but I feel that they do provide a fairly strong balancing mechanism, if you let them.

Um, yeah. I played once with with a DM who actually allowed it to be applied to any healing spell the Radiant Servant of Pelor cast.

Or, as we would soon call him, the Radiant Servant of Cheese.

Stick with the domains. Otherwise it'll turn into Limburger... maybe Bree. Smelly Bree.

Any healing spell he cast or just ones that were on the domain list?

I convinced my DM to allow it and his interpretation, only on Domain list or when using the Spontaneous Alt Class Feature.
Regular prepared spells also on the Healing domain do not get the RsoP benefit, which was fine by me as I wasn't planning on preparing any cures.

He may have been pursuaded because he liked my character concept of getting access to as many domains as possible and using Spontaneous Domains feat, leaving domain slots open.
It's an odd, not a real powerful build, but with large group it doesnt need to be and looks very promising from a fun aspect.

Interesting. I thought that the requirement for the Radiant Servant of Pelor was having the Sun domain, not Healing.
If I'm remembering correctly, why would that class ability only function with spells from a domain slot that the character might not have?

I didn't even think it that way, I'll have to double check that.
I was ok with what my DM allowed so didn't delve into it further.

Prereq's require both the Sun and Healing domains.

Prereq's require both the Sun and Healing domains.

Actually, only Sun is listed as a pre-req and there doesn't appear to be an errata for Complete Divine correcting that.

Equal odd is that Healing isn't listed as one of the choices for the bonus domain you get, but Purification is, which isn't even a Pelor domain.

I'm not sure how this is the first time I noticed that.

That right there is a reason to rule that it applies to any healing spell on the healing domain list, not just prepared from there. If you aren't required to have that domain, what garuntee is there that you actually do have it, and can use said class feature?

Nothing guarantees you will have the Domain and be able to use the class feature. When I played a Radiant Servant I didn't have the healing domain and knew before I started the class that I would be giving up those class features. The class was still good enough in my opinion to take even though I was missing out on those features.

My appologies! I stand corrected.
