I was thinking of a character concept of a Ultimate Magus, who used the Draconic Heritage feats (CA). In particular, Draconic breath. I was thinking, with the massive amounts of spells per day, I could breath alot of fire, round after round, even if only for a background.

Has anyone hve any experiance with these feats? What is your opinion?

In my personal experience Draconic Breath is totally nerftastic compared to spells of the same level, it has some effectiveness at low level but there's no real wa of dealing significant damage(something which is already suboptimal for a mage), the one way to even keep up with spells is the Dragonheart Mage(a good prc for a Sorceror, if you don't mind Caster Level dropping by two). Otherwise I wouldn't recommend draconic breath.

Currently I'm playing a Sorcerer who is taking the dragon heritage feats. It's true that they won't deal out the same amount of damage as spells of the same level, but it still is fun to be able to unleash a breath weapon instead of throwing a spell.
