Ziox 04-03-07, 05:41 PM	ive been thinking of multiclassing my level 6(about to be 7) dragon shaman into a level of dragonfire adept. i gots a couple o questions since ive really never multiclassed before: 1. do the flame breaths stack? 2. how do i add B.A.B.'s together + saves? 3. what rate do i level now that im 6DS/1DFA (am i considered level 1 for new class or level 7) 4. anyone reccomend where i can go from here?
nightwyrm 04-03-07, 06:40 PM	1. breaths don't stack 2. the BAB and save just stack together, so if you have X bab from shaman and Y bab from DFA, your bab is X+Y 3. your effective character level is 7, but your class level is DS 6, DFA 1 (you should read the multiclass section of the PHB again, would answer lots of your question) 4. Depends on what you want to do with your character. The CO board is the place to go if you really want to optimize your character. Although I must say that the two classes overlap a lot which might or might not be a bad thing for you.
