| Angerland04-18-07, 12:04 PM | Is the Spellcraft skill important for Druids to take? I am having a bit of trouble finding a reason to put ranks in it at all. Please let me know if it is indeed important and if so, how many ranks should I be taking in it. thanks very much. |

Running down the list of things spellcraft does, and cutting those that apply only to wizards or are more easily accomplished using Read Magic, then considering how often there will be a wizard in the party to handle the other stuff, it just isnt a huge priority to me. Which isnt to say there arent very good reasons to take it, but Im going to make a lot more Spot and Listen checks. |

If that's not important to you, then you can get away without it...unless your campaign is going epic, then it's pretty much required for epic spellcasting at some point. |
