If someone tries to tumble through Difficult Terrain, does the DC go up?

When you tumble, you move at half speed. In difficult terrain, your speed also gets halved. So if you try to tumnble in difficult terrain, do you get to move 5 ft or 10 ft? 30/2=15. 15/2=less than 10.

EDIT: Sorry, wrong question, you always round down in D&D (at least, as far as I know). And remember, you can always increase the DC by ten to tumble full speed.

So if I am being Threatened by a Knight of at least 3rd level, when I tumble, I can only move 5 feet?

Yup. Knights are evil against mobile enemies. Now, I don't see anything very explicit about reducing your speed more for tumbling through difficult terrain, but I think it's a pretty safe assumption. Also, remember that 30 ft is not the speed everything has.

Also, the Knight adds her level to the tumble check of the creatures going thry area she threatens.

So, if the Enlarged spike-chain-wielding Knight takes Improved Trip or Stand Still, Mage Slayer, and Pierce Magical Concealment...

Like I said: evil. I might have my enemies take a couple levels in knight sometimes just to make it difficult to move. Works really well with the rest of the levels being Crusader. Don't think I'll ususally have more than 4 or so levels in knight though, not worth it.

5th level adds to Tumble DC, and gets a bonus feat. Not too shabby.

5 levels then. I was going off of 1.5 week memory.
