But suppose a sitution were to arise where eidetic memory would be useful. Are there any feats or skill tricks beyond Listen to This (Complete Scoundrel) that could help, or is it really just a moot point since anyone with a high enough INT score would probably not have to worry about it? |

"Memorize: You can attempt to memorize a long string of numbers, a long passage of verse, or some other particularly difficult piece of information (but you can’t memorize magical writing or similarly exotic scripts). Each successful check allows you to memorize a single page of text (up to 800 words), numbers, diagrams, or sigils (even if you don’t recognize their meaning). If a document is longer than one page, you can make additional checks for each additional page. You always retain this information; however, you can recall it only with another successful Autohypnosis check." ...and other stuff too, like resist secondary poin damage or caltrop penalties or even fear effects. Give it a look. |

Give it a look. Agreed -- it's become one of my favorite skills. I'd like to see it expanded to become a class skill at least for monks and maybe other classes, such as rangers and/or rogues. Heck, it might even make sense for the magelings. |
