Exalted Wild Shape, Hit Dice for Celestial abilities? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-28-07, 12:08 AM		Exalted Wild Shape gives any animal you wild shape into the Celestial Template.

Do I use my character Hit Die to determine the Hit Dice based special qualities (Resistance to Acid, Cold, Electricity and Damage Reduction)?
If so, I am a 9 HD creature, and would get Resistance to Acid, Cold and Electricity 10 and Damage Reduction 5/magic.

Wild Shape rule: You retain your own Hit Die with everything related to your Hit Die.

Celestial Template, Monster Manual, pg 31.

Exalted Wild Shape: You can use turn into a celestial version of any animal you can normally transform into (Book of Exalted Deeds, pg 42-43).
