| blade26512-12-07, 04:38 AM | does a character with exceptional deflection (epic) stop a warlocks eldritch blast> Yes! Eldritch Blast requires a ranged touch attack. EXCEPTIONAL DEFLECTION [EPIC] Prerequisites: Dex 21, Wis 19, Deflect Arrows, Improved Unarmed Strike. Benefit: The character can deflect any ranged attacks (including spells that require ranged touch attacks) as if they were arrows. |
| Moosh Nailo12-12-07, 04:54 PM | But Eldritch blast is a spell-like, not a spell. Does that make a difference? |

| ravenshrike12-12-07, 05:16 PM | Depends. If it's cone, burst, or line form, no, but the standard, as well as spear and chain, yes. Of course, why you're still using the standard eldritch blast to attack(unless it's a hellfire warlock) is another question entirely. |
