Extend Feat and Domain Spells? [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-05-07, 07:29 AM The 3.5 PHB says that domain spells can be used in higher slots just as regular spells can be. Does that mean you can use metamagic feats on domain spells? For example, I have a cleric of Xan Yae with the Celerity and War domains. I'm not a fan of the 5th level domain choices, so I'd rather take an Extended Haste there. Is it possible?

10-05-07, 07:38 AM Certainly. Domain slots can hold only domain spells, but it does not state anything about holding only domain spells of X lv.

If haste would normally be a 4th lv domain spell, you could extend it and prepare it in a 5th lv domain slot.:)
