I figure Factotum (with the Int bonus on all Dex and Str skills) and the Illumian (with the racial bonus to all skills based on any two ability scores) is the best place to start. The character needs to be a Rogue/Sage on crack, but can mostly neglect combat. Since I don't see any reason to take Factotum past lvl 5, any suggestions on Prcs or other base classes that mesh with the "skill ho" theme would be mucho appreciated. I've completely drawn a blank on Feats and magic items, although Item Familair is sounding really good. (Yes, this is already posted on Character Optimization, but I figure I'll get better answers here) |

But if there is one or two that are not, consider takign it. You might want Jack Of All Trades, which lets you ignore the "trained only" requirement for certain skills. (Lets you make a knowledge check or Profesion check with all skills using 0 ranks.) The feat Openminded gives you some extra skill points. There is a feat called Research from Ebberon setting, having something to do with Knoweldge skills. But I am not sure exactly what it lets you do that people without the skill can not do. |
