| KRATOS_BLADE_of_SPARTA08-24-07, 01:34 PM | Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me out here. How exactly does the Faerie Mysteries Initiate feat work, does it add Int to Hit Points every level, or only at 1st level? Also does it replace Con to Hit Points, or stack with it? Any help is much appreciated (I won't be able to get my hands on my books and mags for about a month and this is driving me nuts :P). |

Up ontil I got the the Passions Dance, I thought this feat was worthless. When I read the Passions thing I said "NO freakin way". It turns wizards from weaklings into the strongest creature around. ------------- As A DM I would allow this feat ONLY with house rules. I would specifically house rule it so that it simply added your Int modifier in hitpoints to you instead of the way it is written. |

I am looking at it indirectly, but it appears to me that it is worded to work for all levels. But that is blatanatly abusive. I agree it can be abusive, but right now I'm just after RAW. 3. Up ontil I got the the Passions Dance, I thought this feat was worthless. When I read the Passions thing I said "NO freakin way". It turns wizards from weaklings into the strongest creature around. I'm not following (AFB) is there something Broken in the text? Or are you refering to another Feat/Spell/Ability that has broken synergy? As A DM I would allow this feat ONLY with house rules. I would specifically house rule it so that it simply added your Int modifier in hitpoints to you instead of the way it is written. I think that would make it worthless, the only houserule I think is necessary is to keep it out of the hands of Wizards and Psions. Thanks heaps for your help! |

Also gave you one extra hitpoint for every feat of a special kind you took (like every metamagic feat or something). In addition there is Toughness which is a straight +3 hitpoints, and Improved Toughness which is +1/level. Considering what OTHER things the Faerie Mystery does, I think allowing you a straight bonus of your int bonus to your hitpoints is a fair 'last ability'. This makes it almost as good as Mind Over Matter hitpoints wise - but you have the option of taking the other abilities as well, to balance it out. It will should always be better than Toughness, and at levels 1-5 or so should beat Improved Toughness. Not a great feat, but worthwhile. |

| T_Stalker08-25-07, 09:31 AM | "Passions: You and your partner engage in an exuberant sensual act." I don't know much about FR, but since it's a regional feat, I don't see why not. The only question I've got now is: Can you see your lich doing a 15 minute erotic dance with ... well just about anything for that matter? Oh and just to make sure you know, the partner needs this feat too. So it's not like he can just animate a zombie and start doing the lambada with it. |

He could however kill someone else with the feat and turn them into a ghost or other intelligent undead then rebuke or control them. :) |
