If your DM would allow you to make a strike there, he'd also allow you to make strikes off of Cleave attempts and similar means of generating extra attacks. By the way. You're a level 17 crusader with that strike. At those levels, crusaders just don't die from hit point damage. Between healing strikes (which they're encouraged to use frequently or they lose them for a while due to their cycling maneuver system), Steely Resolve, Stone Power (you *did* notice what those two did together, right?), the high AC you probably have, and the DR you no doubt have in some way, shape, or form as a high-level melee character, not to mention IMMORTAL FORTITUDE, hit point damage is the least of your worries. |
