Favored Class Feat ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I promise you that I've looked in all my books for this. So unless I imagined it, can anyone tell me where and what the feat is called that lets you pick or change what your Favored Class can be. I have a 3.5 Gnome rogue / Illusionist that really needs your help finding this soon.

05-28-07, 04:27 PM don't recall the name of it but it is in races of destiny. might be restricted to human and half-races. (not that I think it would be broken to extend to all races)

05-28-07, 04:48 PM That would be Diverse Background from RoD. But you have to be half-human. There's also Arcane Schooling from PGtF, but you have to take it at 1st level... and it makes an arcane class your favored one, which wouldn't change anything for you in this case anyway. And it looks like there's some diety-specific feats in Frostburn that make Cleric your Favored Class, but that likely won't help either.

[I used the Therran Feat List (http://www.devinweb.com/featlisting.htm) to get this information... it is based on a homebrew world, so sometimes minor things are different, but it's a great place to start.]

Yes, it would in fact change something for him. It would let him choose wizard (illusionist) as his favored class. Gnomes normally have bard as their favored class. This feat sounds like exactly what he was looking for.
