The new way feats are being organized in books is getting a bit annoying. Feats are now being broken down by "type" in the newer books, so you get a list of regular feats, then a list of tactical feats, then a list of these kinds of feats and those kinds of feats. It makes things a little difficult to find.

It makes about as much sense as the old "List spells by class and level" does in 3E. C'mon guys, organize the feats alphabetically. The summary tables are where you can break the feats down by type. If you have to, put the type beside the alphabetic feat name or add a line for "type" (though I'd really rather the latter not be done).

I agree with stormonu. The post pretty much says it, so I can't add too much.

My thoughts exactly. When feats or spells are listed with their descriptions, put them all together alphabetically. We have enough trouble trying to remember the name of a feat (out of the thousands of feats available) without being required to remember the "category" of the feat as well.

Tables are the place to list feats by type. If someone knows they're looking for a tactical feat, but can't remember the name, it's simple to go to the table, find it, and look it up.

I don't find it to be bothersome, or helpful. I don't have trouble finding them, but you're right about the table having that info.
