| Celas Evriamytholin04-12-08, 11:15 PM | Dear boards, I was just wondering if there were low-requirement feats a 1st level cleric could take to boost his healing spells by 1 or 2, aside from Sacred Healing from PHBII. Thanks =). P.S. please include book title and page number if possible. |
| Celas Evriamytholin04-12-08, 11:59 PM | I think I'll simply take Augment Healing from Complete Divine. However, is there a feat to let me cast cure spells at close range instead of touch? Thanks :) |
| Silverclaw04-13-08, 02:01 PM | there is also the "magic of the land" feat from Races of the wild (page152) |
| Essex04-13-08, 03:04 PM | You may find the Combat Medic prestige class from Heroes of Battle to be useful. Complete Divine has the Reach Spell metamagic feat for using touch spells at a distance. |

Thanks :) Try Maximize Spell then take Master of Day and Night for all healing is maximized with no level increase. Reach Spell, but it is 30' and is a level adjust. |

Its very handy if you have bonus turns from Cha or feats and it has no adjustment to spell level. And of course Augmented Healing is a must for any power healer. It even makes the weak Close Wounds spell noticably more potent. A truely dedicated healer probably won't need to spend money on wands. |
| Malicea04-15-08, 05:03 AM | Close Wounds and Channelled Divine Health both can heal at a distance naturally. The latter is a pretty flexible heal that's quite adequate healing when combined with Augment Healing, and especially with Mastery of Day and Night, as mentioned above. |

Where is Channeled Divine Health from? Thanks! |
| Eerongal04-15-08, 12:59 PM | as a side note, you may want to look into the domain devotion feat from complete champion. While it doesnt increase the amount you heal, it's a metamagic feat with a 0 level adjustment that makes all of your healing spells give out small buffs, that depend on what domains you have. |
| setekh04-15-08, 01:08 PM | IIRC one of the Hierophant abilities allows you to make Touch attacks at range (30' for one level, 60' if you take it again) |
| JulesCARV04-15-08, 01:11 PM | Never mind. |
| risner04-15-08, 02:20 PM | feat to let me cast cure spells at close range instead of touch? You could use 190 gp one use Unicorn Dust from Complete Champion (around page 130) to gain Reach 30' on a touch spell. |
| Orenmir04-16-08, 10:11 AM | It's not a feat, but another spell that can boost your healing spells' caster level... Healing Lorecall from Complete Adventurer page 151. You get to use your skill ranks as your caster level for healing spells while under its duration. There are some other nifty benefits too. It only lasts 1 min/level, but it can be persisted. |
| Malicea04-16-08, 09:21 PM | Channelled Divine Health is from Players Handbook II I think. |
| Sinfire Titan04-16-08, 10:18 PM | Shape Soulmeld (Lifebond Vestmnets) and the Soulmeld Therapeutic Mantle bound to the Shoulders Chakra both have very potent effects on the healing you are able to do. Lifebond Vestments can minimize the amount of healing needed over all (faster when bound to the Heart Chakra) to only a Cure Minor spell. You keep reducing the damage others have taken until you are at minimum HP (1 or higher). Then you use it on yourself until you are only missing a single HP. Rinse, repeat, and then heal yourself when everyone else is at full. The more Essentia, the better. |
