Is there a feat in an official WotC book (ie Complete series, Dungeonscape, etc) that offers a feat where you can make a Cross-Class Skill available as an In-Class skill?

able learner from races of destiny is like that but it has a racial restriction.

Not quite, it just removes the 2x skill point cost for cross-class skills, the one in Unearthed Arcana makes either 1 or 2 cross-class skills into perminant class skills.

I think cosmopolitan from forgotten realms did that

3.0 it might have. 3.5 it gives +2 on bluff, gather info, and sense motive.

Education (FR version) gives all knowledge skills as class skills.

I know it's not a feat, but you could always dip a level of Factotum.

Class Skills: All

Also, d8 hit die, 6 skill points and ability to add your int bonus to an attack/damage/saving roll twice per encounter, add int bonus to any skill once per day per skill and trapfinding thrown into the bargain.

Exactly, "like" instead of "this is what you need" means it is almost there. One level dip in say bard and you take care of it. Almost all skills as class skills. I just depends on the guy's build. If it is skill based then the level dip with able learner may be what he needs. Maybe not but it is still a perfectly valid point.

I don't have the text in front of me...
If you don't want to max out cross class skills, Able Learner (RoD) allows you to purchase cross-class ranks at one skill point per rank, the same as class skills. It doesn't, IIRC, remove the 1/2(HD+3) rank cap for the cross class skills.

Depends on what skill you want. If you want Balance, Diplomacy, Concentration, Intimidate, Sense Motive and one or two others that I forget off the top of my head, you can take the Martial Study feat (from Tome of Battle). It's primary effect is to give a non in initiator a maneuver, but as a secondary effect it gives you the maneuver's key skill as a class skill, permanently.

Othr skills, you got Skill Knowledge and the Human Paragon from UA, but that's optional material.

There's an Aerenal elf feat from eberron that lets you choose a cross class skill and make it a class skill, I think with a +3 bonus too. Forget the name of it, though.

omg, never say that word. I'll murder anyone who calls themselves that and then seppuku for having gotten its blood on my hands.

Also when multiclassing the class skills are only class skills while leveling up in that class. you take one level rogue from fighter you can max out a skill for rogues like hide but after that it still costs you the double skill points for any ranks in it while you're a fighter.

btw ranger/rogue you'll get everything except speak language, spellcraft and various knowledges but you still got a good many of those. Take able learner, now nearly every skill is basically a class skill. "Regardless of whether skill si purchased as a class skill or a cross class skill, if it is a class skill for any of your classes, your maximum rank equals your total character level + 3. (PHB 62)"

Uhmm... right. Okay, you either don't like the class or don't like the word. Either way it's a real class in a real sourcebook, so you should probably deal with that. The fact remains that it has all skills as class skills, which is what is being discussed, not its name.

Yeah, I know how purchasing skill ranks works. The idea was that dipping a level of F******m will make any skill available and also throw a lot of nice benefits into the package as well. Combine with something like 'Able Learner' and you're set.

gah, you called "it" a class again. its not a class it is all classes and not even good all classes. all it is for everyone i know is a joke. we start every new game with everyone asking the dm regardless of who it is if they can be a f******m just to get the expected response of 5 minutes of laughter as everyone realizes it was and always will be a joke. and yes its in a real source book but so is alot of other dribble which will never make it to my table.

Flexible Mind/Anarchic Feat
From: Dragon #326
Benefit: Choose two skills you have ranks in. The chosen skills are always considered class skills for you. In addition, you receive a +1 bonus on all checks involving these skills.
A character with at least one anarchic feat radiates an aura of chaos with a power equal to his character level (see the detect chaos spell), as if he were a cleric of a chaotic deity.
-----
There is also, as mentioned above taking a level of the optional Human Paragon in UA.
