| FrostWolf10-20-07, 02:07 AM | I know I've heard people talking about a feat that will allow animals to be taken like the leadership feat. Anyone know where I can find it? Thankyou in advanced. |
| deviknyte10-20-07, 11:00 AM | Yeah. Same question. I was racking over my books, even accidently created a mirror thread (cut me the slack I work midnights and I'm still up). When I thought? Web enhancement. I was right.... http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a |
| King_Of_Blood10-20-07, 01:37 PM | There is also a PrC in Complete Warrior that gives 3 more animal companions (1 at 1st, 1 more at 5th, and another at 10th) It also powers up your first animal companion and any subsequent ones you gain in the class. If your a druid or ranger though. |
| Ninja_Ferret10-20-07, 01:45 PM | Its in the complete adventurer the beast master Its a nice PrC to drop a couple of levels into. But since the extra Animal companions only go off the Beast masters level you are looking at some serious hampered Animal companions Since at 4th level its an animal companion -3 then 7th level its animal companion -6 then 10th level animal companion -9. And those 3 extra ones go off the beast masters level. Unless there is an errata or FAQ about the beast masters Animal companions im not aware of. |
| King_Of_Blood10-20-07, 06:48 PM | Actually, I think it says they stack with druid levels for purpose of animal companion, or else you would never be able to get the last one up past 4 unless you extend it into epic. I'm AFBs at the moment. When I get to them I'll check. Edit: Actually it works out to Beast Master Level +3 for your first, second = your beastmaster level - 3, 3 your beastmaster level -6 and 4th your beastmaster level -9. So Ninja_Ferret was right. |

| King_Of_Blood10-20-07, 06:54 PM | Complete adventurer, sorry. It's called the beastmaster. Read my post right before yours for the details of the animal companions. |
