feats and arcane spellcasters [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-23-07, 01:42 AM as i understand it, aside from spell mastery which only a wizard can take, there is no feat that gives an edge to arcane spellcasters.
cleric has domain feats
druid has wildshape feats
all classes with turn undead have the divine feats

and to top that, they can all take any meta-magic feat which is open to wizards. even spell focus.

correct me if i'm wrong...

04-23-07, 01:54 AM Well, I still say Metamagic is the way to go. Other types of casters generally have other types of feats to worry about, and so it usually ends up the arcane casters have more metamagic feats and can use them more.

04-23-07, 02:41 AM Wizards get a bonus feat every 5 lvs, which puts them in a position to better capitalize on metamagic feats. Other classes have their own fair share of "must take feats", which doesn't really leave them with much room for customization.:)
