I seem to remember a feat that gave a scaling attack bonus when fighting larger creatures than yourself. Can anyone confirm this?

Are there any other feats that would benefit a small or smaller character fighting medium and larger creatures?

Thanks!

I believe close-quarters fighting gives a bonus to grapple checks based on the opponents size. Confound the bigfolk is a tactical feat in races of the wild that gives small or smaller races a "big advantage" against larger stuff.

Isn't there a feat called underfoot fighting or something like that?

Close quarter fighting give you a chance to make an attack of opportunity against opponents who make a grappling attempt an against who you would have other wise been denied your attack of opportunity (by mean of improved grab abillity or improved grapple feat). The feat you're thinking about is Clever Wrestling, which does exactly what Kapalen said. There's also a feat in the Draconomicon, I think it's called something like Cunning Sidestep, that gives you the same kind of bonus but for bull-rush and overrun (I think close quarter fighting and clever wrestling are prerequisites). Dwarf can take Titan fighting from Races of Stone to get their bonus vs giant against any larger opponents, and there's also a tactical feat in there that helps them against giants. There a feat or two in Complete warrior that allows gnome and halfling to take advantage of there smaller size to gain bonus against bigger creatures, and I think there's also a tactical feat in Races of Stone. Btw, races of stone talk about dwarves and gnomes, and races of the wild about halfling, so there are certainly some more in there.

If you're looking for general ways to get bonuses when you're small in fight against bigger opponents there are a few PrC that gives you those kind of bonuses (giant-killer from CW and another giant killer from Forgotten Realms setting both give you bonuses against giants).

If you have acess to more setting options, there is low blow and improves low blow that enable you to enter the square of a creature one size category larger than you. It's a full-round action but give you an attack of opportunity and the opponent is denied is dexterity bonus for that attack.

That's all I can think of right now...

There it is, and I it's in either CW, Races of the Wild or Stone, or Complete adventurer (I think, at least it narrows down the choices).

I think there is also a feat in races of faerun where, if you move into a square of a foe larger than you, he is treated as flat footed.

Yes there is, it's called low blow; the enemy gets an attack of opportunity unless you get the improved version improved low blow.

You can use some feats to purchase maneuvers and stances from the Book of Nine Swords there is a stance (Giant Killing Stance - Setting Sun school of combat - available at minimum lvl 10 for non-BoNS classes) that gets you +2 to hit and +4 to damage against anyone larger than you
