Hey all,

My UMD/Sneak Attacking Skill-Monkey of a Whisper Gnome Rogue just reached 6th level (only member of the original party still alive, actually), and I was hoping someone would know of a feat to make my wand use more potent.

I know of the feat Double-Wand Wielder, but it requires TWF as a pre-req, which I don't have. I was considering taking it, but I try to avoid melee, and I'd be stuck with a feat I wouldn't use much for 3 levels. I'd rather shoot things with wands.

Is there a feat that would let me make Attacks of Opportunity with a wand?
Or something else to make evil things die when I point a stick at them?
Should I bite the bullet and take TWF, so I can grab Double Wand Wielder at 9?
Should I take a level of Fighter so I can grab it now?
Should I take Skill Focus: UMD?

All help is appreciated.

If it matters, my current feats are:
Extra Silence
Silencing Strike
Weapon Finesse

Thanks.

2 weapon fighting cant hurt if you are a rogue, and have a high dex and have WFinesse, or perhaps high str and daggers to aid you in your wand weilding...

skill focus isn ta waste either since you cant take 20

Wand Mastery is a good one. +2 DC and +2 caster level to spells from a wand. I don't know what the prereqs are and I believe this feat is from Eberron. Which is crappy since the local campaign doesn't allow those books. :(

I was going to go the same route as you with a Rog/Wiz and live off of wands, but then I was told I couldn't use Wand Mastery. Killed the story line of my character real quick.

Reckless Wand Weilder allows you to expend aditional charges but use the wand as if it was 2 levels higher for the purposes of what the DC saves are and what damage dice you use for it
