Hi,

Are there feats for breath weapons to:

* Increase the DC to save against it?
* Increase the range of it?
* Increase the damage of it?

If so please tell me where I can find them. Thanks.

Ability focus increases DC by 2 (monster manual).

Draconomicon has a whole list of feats which augment your breath weapon.

Not sure of any others...

Remember that the feats in the Draconomicon only work if you have a breath weapon with a xdx round delay, not 1/day or at will.

For all things Breath Weapon, look in either Draconomicon or Races of the Dragon.

yes both of those books have some amazing dragon breath feats.. clinging breath maximize all sorts of goodies. but they all increase the reuse time of the breath weapon. Hence why you can only take them if you have a breath weapon that does xDx of dmg with a reuse time of xDx rounds.

You can't use them if you use your breath only once a day, but maybe you can agree with the DM (or the player if you're the DM) to let you use them with breath usable every round (like dragonfire adept's breath) while delaying the breath the appropriate number of rounds.

So by RAW, the Dragon Shaman could use them but not the Dragonfire Adept?

dragon shaman .. dragon born .. both of those can use them by raw. My son plays a dragon shaman and is about to get his 6th lvl and a new feat, he is anxiously waiting to get clinging breath.

Well that's just crap for the DFA!

(good for your son, though.)

I'm going to use them for my DFA, and just not let him use them for an amount of time similar to the Dragon Shaman. Does that sound fair?

Don't forget Races of the Dragon. It has five breath weapons that Dragonfire Adepts can use. The only useful one, IMO, is Entangling Exhalation.

The breath weapon deals half damage, but everyone in the effect is entangled and takes 1d6 damage per round that they are entangled (1d4 rds).
