I just made 15th level with my warlock. Any ideas on good feats to take? I'm thinking extra invocation fell flight.

Feats i have so far:
Dark one's luck
Maximize spell like ability
ability focus eldritch blast
Other Wordly whispers
Force of personality

I took the wall of fire greater invocation at 15th level. It seems to be good for crowd control. Any tips on using it. How has it worked for your warlock?

Maximize Spell-like Ability is allways nice as is Craven from BoVD.

You can't beat taking Extra Invokation as many times as you can. What better feat could you get than one that gives you a whole new power?

I think you mean Mortalbane from BoVD.
Craven is in a differnt book, and is really for rogues.

OP: Your mixing together feats and invocations. It makes it difficult.

Feats you have:
Maximize spell like ability: Decent choice.
ability focus eldritch blast: Also good. This means though that you are going to want to get a few blast essence invocations, since thats what the increased save DC will actually apply to.
Force of personality: Will is already a strong save. Unless you are really, really worried about mind-influencing effects, or have a really, really bad Wis, I dont see the point.

You have at least 3 more feats to pick:
Youre over level 12, which means you can Imbue items. Get an item creation feat. Craft Contingency is a favorite.

Since you are using your EB a lot, you might want to go with Point Blank and Precise Shot.

You could also take Quicken SLA.

You may wish to strongly consider Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration or perhaps just Spell Penetration and Arcane Mastery.

If I'm not mistaken, the invocations listed there were ones he took with the Extra Invocation feat.

That would make some sense.

Greater Resilience is also a good feat, an extra point of DR is always worthwhile

what about PB shot? You are not worried at all about in melee penalities and soft cover from allies? I am surprise that you dont have some on that feat chain already, but i was just curious.

Extra invocation is brutal, and hard to pass up, as another said, at 15th level you have nice choices.

There is always leadership, too. I assume that Char wasnt your dump stat since you took max, but who knows... at 15th lvl you could have a pretty beefy cohort (warlock, wizzie, cleric? all nice and potentially could keep you in flight/airwalk pretty well, not quite as well as invo-kay-shun, but hey, they would add some versatility)

PS why WoFire invok? why not the Chilling tentacles line? Although i love WoFire, its great if you encircle the enemy with any kind of combo that involves movement reduction (i use it alot with Evard's black tentacles, or ensnare when i am with a druid/ranger. It really works well tactically if you are the party leader since you set the line through which enemy's will fight, either they stand in the wall, or take AoO coming through to the party's side. Plus as an invocation, do you have to concentrate on it? Or can you put up as many as you like? That would be nice too, you could run crosses as well as hemming enemies in ....

Its always nice to lay down in a circle inward too, can really get some battles off to the right start. As an added bonus any caster in the WoF is taking damage, so they must make concentration checks to cast. THe wall's damage isnt beefy, but it does help to require yet another roll :D I find that when players make me wear my dd20 thin with checks, the enemies tend to hit less.... saving those 20s for saves and checks saves lives.

Voracious Dispelling is also a nice one to take from Extra INvocations, it is dispel and damage from dispelled, no save.

Currently in my capaign, the PC warlock is using Breath of Night, Spider Climb (cant remember name), Voracious dispelling, Flee the Scene, and i think he hasnt picked the rest... if he even gets more. I cant remember now, and he isnt the brightest of PCs anyways, but he has been very successful so far... very successful

:embarrass Thats what I get for not checking with my books before posting.

The OP may want to read the Warlock Handbook for more information.

IForce of personality
How big is your WIS/CHA differential?

I ask because there's a feat in Sandstorm, Scorpion's Sense or something similar, that just gives a flat +4 to the same saves that are affected by Force of Personality. It's also a prerequisite for a feat that gives you limited blindsense, which is pretty snazzy.
