The following two feats are intended to allow a player to easily multiclass as a Monk and Soulknife and gain some incentive from doing so. I know it might sound stupid, or maybe even sounds too much like a Jedi, but I think the idea is really cool. The feats are partially based on the feat Ascetic Monk in C. Adventurer.

Soul-Monk [General]
Prerequisites: Stunning Fist, psychic strike +1d8, still mind
Benefit: You may sacrifice one daily stunning fist attempt to try to charge your mind blade as a swift action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity; this requires a concentration check DC 20 + the number of points of damage taken this round. Failure means that you can't charge your mind blade, and the stunning fist attempt is still lost. Your mind blade remains charged until you hit a target, at which point the charge is unleashed as a normal psychic strike. This ability can be used once per round.
If you have levels in soulknife and monk, those levels stack for the purpose of determining the extra damage dealt by your psychic strike ability. For example, a 4th-level soulknife/3rd-level monk would deal an extra 2d8 points of damage with a psychic strike.
In addition, you can multiclass freely between the soulknife and monk classes. You may also multiclass freely between soulbow and monk classes. You must still remain lawful in order to retain your monk abilities and take monk levels. You still face normal XP penalties for having multiple classes more than one level apart.

Ki-Blade Flurry [General]
Prerequisites: Soul-Monk, Stunning Fist, psychic strike +1d8, still mind
Benefit: You may perform a flurry of blows with your mind blade in any of its forms. You may also treat it as a weapon with the Ki Focus ability DMG (pg. 225).
In addition, if you have the Shape Mind Blade class feature, you may also choose to reshape your mind blade into a kama. You may create and fight with two kamas, or a kama and a short sword similarly to the way you may create two short swords. The created weapons have an enhancement bonus 1 lower then you would otherwise have if you choose to create a single mind blade.
This feat also applies to mind arrows granted by the soul bow prestige class.

Please evaluate and criticize honorably/honestly.

Have you seen the Dragonshard article, Blades Of The Quori? (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebds/20050110a) It had the following feat.

Flowing Blade [General]

Your mind blade is an extension of your body and soul, and you wield it with the same grace as your foot or fist.

Prerequisite: Ability to generate a mind blade, Weapon Focus (mind blade), flurry of blows class feature.

Benefit: You can treat your mind blade as a special monk weapon so that you can perform a flurry of blows with it.

Special: A kalashtar or Inspired monk can select this as a bonus feat at 2nd or 6th level, in addition to the normal options available at those levels. They must still meet all prerequisites for the feat.

There's also a feat called Tashalantora in Secrets Of Sarlona. It lets you stack levels in Monk and levels in a chosen psionic class, for the purpose of a variety of Monk class features. I'm pretty sure it works with Soulknife as well, but not 100% sure. Maybe someone who owns the book can clarify that.

Is soulknife psionic? Yes, therefor it works.

Okay, thanks for pointing those out. I've never read anything about the other campaign settings so I wouldn't have known anything about that. Thats why I post this stuff though, either to get advice, critiscism and compliments or to get the exact same thing pointed out to me.

Thank you for pointing that out though. It's wise to learn from mistakes, stupidity to repeat them.

I don't have Secrets Of Sarlona. I don't know of Tashalantora requires a psionic class, or a manifesting class. The soulknife is a psionic class, but not a manifesting class, so the exact wording of the feat can make a big difference.

Woah, you changed your avatar. That caught me off-gaurd. I'm pretty sure it just says "psionic", but I am AFB right now. 90% certain I'll say.

i think a feat that les you blow a stunning fist for a swift action charge is a bit strong.

reason, it takes a whole feat just to charge once as a free action per day.

thats all i got.

<Snip multiclassing>

Emphasis mine. Why based on damage taken during the round? Why not just tack on, say, ten to the DC? This should work, I think. Maybe +15, though +10 or even +5 could be balanced.

Ah, but this feat also increases the Concentration DC, and you're blowing a stunning fist.

Overall, I like the idea. Gives me an excuse to play a Jedi without homebrewing a lightsaber.
