The Fling Enemy and Fling Ally feats from Races of Stone both interest me. However, i was looking at Fling Enemy, and i was wondering if it was different from Fling Ally in that, could you pick up and throw something equal to your size? It doesn't specifically say you cannot, however it does cite Fling Ally, so i'm not sure.

If you can pick it up, can you throw it, with Fling Enemy?

Edit: Though i'd mentioned it, but forgot to. The race is an Ogre, so i don't think there is any way to increase his size either. Though if anyone can think of a way i'd love to hear it, but i believe ogres are Giants, technically, so there isn't any way to increase their size with spells. Though there might be a feat or class ability or something out there that i'm not aware of.

Well, you could increase your size with the psionic power Expansion. With enough levels of Manifester, you increase your size by two catagories.

As for the Fling Enemy and Fling Ally, I will have to read up on those, so I have some clue to the answer you seek. Of course, by the time I do, and get back to you, someone will have already told you, I am sure.

Or, I would find the book and read it right away, and have the answer rather quickly. You never know with these things.

As it stands, Fling Enemy limits you in two ways. One, the enemy can't weigh more than your maximum load.

The other one is the kicker, though. The range you can throw him is identical as stated in Fling Ally. In that feat, it only gives ranges for allies one catagory smaller, or less.

So, as a large creature, you can lift an enemy if he is within your weight limit, but you can only fling him if he is one size catagory smaller or more than you.

However, check out the Hulking Hurler. This might be what you need to make this really work. You can find it in the Complete Warrior, if you didn't know.

Hope this helps.

By they way, I think that is hilarious. A character that uses the meat shields of the enemy as ranged weapons against the enemy casters. LOL, I like it.
