(Night Haunt, Spell Hand, etc.) My take: Folk Magic [General] Prerequisites: Int 10, Wis 10, or Cha 10 You have dabbled in a bit in common, simple magic, and can produce a few minor magical effects. Benefit: This feat has two effects, one for non-spellcasters and one for spellcasters. If you are not a spellcaster, you gain a total number of 0-level spells known and 0-level spell slots equal to four: for example you might learn one spell and have three spell slots, or you might learn three spells and only have one spell slot. You learn 0-level spells from the 0-level spells on the bard, cleric, druid, or sorcerer/wizard list. You cast the spells you learn with this feat spontaneously, but, although the spells are not considered to be either arcane or divine, you must rest 8 hours to recover them, as with an arcane spellcaster. Any saving throw DCs from these spells are equal to 10. If you are a spontaneous spellcaster, you may add a number of 0-level spells known and 0-level spell slots equal to four, as described above, but these spells known slots are added to one of your existing spellcasting classes. If you are a prepared spellcaster, you may add a number of 0-level spells known and a number of 0-level spells outside your list to your list equal to four. For example, a cleric who takes Folk Magic may take three extra 0-level spell slots, and also add mage hand to her 0-level cleric spell list. If you were not a spellcaster when you took the feat, but subsequently become one, the spell slots from the feat are added to your spellcasting class's 0-level spell slots, and if you are a spontaneous spellcaster, you automatically know the spells you know from the feat in addition to normal 0-level spells known for your class. If you become a prepared spellcaster, you also add the spell slots from the feat to your 0-level spell slots, and add the spells you know from the feat to your class's 0-level spell list. Special: You may take this feat multiple times. All spells known and spell slots gained from this feat stack. |
