Hello,
if a frenzied berserker used the supreme power attack with the combat brute feat with a two handed weapon, did the + 4 damage bonus / - 1 penalty attack multiply by 3 with this tactical feat or not ?

For example, if the penalty attack is - 10 , is the bonus damage equal 120 (+ 40 x 3) or not ?

Thanks for your future answer.

This has to do with how you handle multipliers in D&D. You do not simply multiply the 4 by 3 to get 12. The way it's handled is you add them together and then subtract 1. So, in this case, your multiplier will end up being 6 (4 + 3 - 1 = 6).

Long story short, if you take -10 to hit, you will get +60 damage.

Here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/theBasics.htm#multiplying) if the section of the SRD (http://www.d20srd.org) that explains how it works.

If your askung if your Frenzied Berserker can shift his minus to hit from Power Attack to his AC instead with Combat Brute the answer is yes.

they are added, not multiplied.

combat brute increase your twho handed power attack multiplier from 2 to 3?
that's +1
frienzed berserker increase two handed power attack multiplier from 2 to 4? that's +2.

added together, the final bonus is +3 and a final 5 for 1 ratio.

You're right. I added one too many into my first calculation, which is funny. I've always run this in the past as 5:1. I don't know how I missed that! I just blindly applied the multiplier rules without looking at what I was really doing. ;)

that's shock trooper/heedless charge, not combat brute/momentum swing.
