Frenzy + Speed Wpn Enchant = Stackable? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-07, 11:47 AM Looking up the Frenzy ability shows that the extra attack is not cumulative with other effects that also grant additional attacks, such as haste so I wanted to confirm that this does in fact include the speed weapon enchant. Y/N?

If so, is there any way for a melee character to have 6 attacks per round with only one weapon, non-TWF tree, non-IUS, etc.?

Ex. Bbn 10/FB 10 = 4 attacks from BAB and 1 while frenzied. Any way to gain 1 more attack with character's main weapon?

As for how to get 6 attacks, I don't know of any ways, but to be honest I've never really looked.

All speed based enhancements are limited to 1 additional attack.

This includes multiple speed weapons (which only give one attack total, you pick the weapon), haste, and all other speed based bonuses.

Your ONLY way of getting two attacks out of a haste is to use the 1/day ability of a Dervish (Thousand Slashes) which specifically does double Haste attacks.

08-02-07, 03:02 AM If so, is there any way for a melee character to have 6 attacks per round with only one weapon, non-TWF tree, non-IUS, etc.?I'm not sure what's in or out for you, but ranger4/monk16 can fairly easily make 8 at level 20: 4 from BAB +16, +2 from flurry, +1 from Rapid Shot (must be with a shuriken), +1 from haste (or equivalent).

You can replace ranger with any other full BAB class, and actually only need Monk11, but if you have monk11 you might as well have monk12. Of course, it's debatable whether the -2 to all attacks from Rapid Shot is worth it for a single extra shuriken attack.

4 from BAB, 1 from speed, and 1 from slashing flurry. All attacks would be made at a -5.
