| DESC03-28-08, 10:13 PM | so, I am playing a dwarf with using heavy plate, I am pretty much a tank character. I am looking for good feats for heavy armor. I saw, in I think Complete Adventurer, a feat called shield ward, I think, which allowed you to add the AC bonus from a shield to touch attacks and stuff, is there anything like that for armor? Also, any other good tank-like feats for heavy armor wearer. |

The two Optimizations are relatively easy to get, but Armor Spec has a relatively high BAB pre-req |
| ciaran03-29-08, 01:39 AM | Well are you a shielded tank? |
| Drackthor03-29-08, 09:02 PM | I know you want feats, but as a Dwarf Tank, you NEED to take at least 2 levels of Deep Warden, it lets you use your Con bonus instead of your Dex bonus for AC bonuses, and if you really want to power it up, the ability says nothing about having a maximum constitution bonus on armor. ;) |
| DESC03-31-08, 01:14 AM | Yes, I am a shielded tank. I would love to go into dwarven defender, but that would take to many feats and skills, I am an incarnate/ironsoul forgemaster, so I meat pretty much none of the requirements for the class, except for being a dwarf |
| foxtail03-31-08, 09:43 AM | There's a feat called Deflective Armor in... Races of Stone, I beleive, that allows you to include your armor bonus in your touch AC. Unfortunately, it's a Psionic feat that requires you to be psionically focused, so you'd need a dip into a psi class or the Wild Talent feat to get it. |

This was my first thought as well, it is totally worth it. |
