I would recommend ranged, but either way is good. Ranged: Ranged series- Rapid Fire (ranger), Mounted Combat (Outrider), Mounted Archery (Outrider), Point Blank shot, Manyshot, Greater Manyshot (for multiple sneak attacks), Precise Shot, Improved PreciseShot. You could swap out something for Improved Rapid Fire also if you felt that was better. Melee Charger series- Rapid Fire (ranger), Mounted Combat (Outrider), Mounted Archery (Outrider), Ride-by-Attack, Spirited Charge, Trample, Cavalry Charger, Power Attack. Melee Two-Weapon series- Rapid Fire (ranger), Mounted Combat (Outrider), Mounted Archery (Outrider), Two-Weapon Fighting, Two-Weapon Pounce, Two-Weapon Rend, High Sword Low Axe, Lightning Mace. All good choices, but you'll have to switch out some for other prerequisites. |

| kjenks04-13-07, 11:32 AM | Change some of those rogue levels to fighter levels and pick up Shock Trooper. Combining Shock Trooper/Heedless Charge with Spirited Charge gives this character somewhere around 3d6+102 damage on a two-handed mounted lance charge/Ride-by Attack with a pretty good (+21 or so) attack bonus. Use a Figurine of Wondrous Power - Ebony Fly to buzz over the battlefield, avoiding difficult terrain. Or take enough ranger levels to ride a dire bat. Or both, since your mount is likely to die fast and often. |
| lukus04-13-07, 01:03 PM | well i am going to be fighting lots of mummys and mummy lords... and the lord of the undead.(which is a ogre mage+half dragon temp.+ feand temp+ celestal temp+ mummy lord awakend... or something like that.) so i am thinking melee plus a few ranged feats. i have for sure mounted combat and mounted archrey+ ten others. my frend is helping to but i think he gave up.:ton: |
