If a person with the Marshal ability to use Grant Move Action, uses it, and his companions are currently flat footed. Does that mean they are no longer flat footed, since they can immediately move?

this seems to me one of those times when there is no rule so we use common sence. I can't imagin a person running thirty feet at a foe and then being surprised, so I would rule they are not flat footed.

Flat Footed (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/conditionSummary.htm#flatFooted) means "has not yet acted during a combat". So someone who has made a move action is not flat footed, because they have taken an action.
