| VeitSteadfast06-27-07, 01:19 AM | Is there a feat somewhere that give you your Int bonus to AC..? |
| Von_Harbringer06-27-07, 01:26 AM | No sorry I cannot think of one. If you are a wizard I say mage armor and shield. But high enough level invisiblity, dim door, and teleport. |
| risner06-27-07, 02:50 AM | Is there a feat somewhere that give you your Int bonus to AC..? That would be considerably too good for a feat. |

| Tempest Stormwind06-27-07, 03:42 AM | That would be considerably too good for a feat. Incidentally, there is a feat that does it: Carmendine Monk. It isn't perfect, since it requires you to be a monk first (and thus for non-monks, it's worthless as a "feat" since there are several level dips that would 'cost' less than the monk level + the feat to get the same thing). however, the (already linked and why in holy hell isn't it stickied here already) X Stat to Y bonus thread doesn't actually contain this one, since it's a rather controversial feat (although it does mention four such level dips). |
| runestar06-27-07, 07:34 AM | I suppose a wizard or archivist could consider starting off as a monk1 for int mod to AC and good saves, if he is willing to suck up the delayed spellcasting progression. At higher lvs, you are easily looking at +10 or more AC when your int hits 30 and over, and this pretty much stacks with everything else. However, carmendine monk does have a fairly restrictive roleplaying requirement to it. You might want to consider the kung fu genius feat instead, if your campaign is not based in FR. |
| risner06-27-07, 09:36 AM | Incidentally, there is a feat that does it: Carmendine Monk. I know that feat, I play a Monk with it (sorta.) It doesn't do Int to AC, it allows you to use your Intelligence bonus instead of your Wisdom bonus for determining your monk AC bonus. It doesn't add Intelligence bonus to AC. In other words, this feat only modifies the way the Monk's bonus works. |
| VeitSteadfast06-29-07, 12:26 AM | Well, instead of the feat, is there some sort of class feature that allows you to use your Int bonus in your AC? I remember something about it in the ToB.. I was also looking at the Comlpete Champion and noticed a Monk PrC that allowed Con to AC as well.. If you don't see what I'm going for I'll just type it out here: Con, Dex, Int, and Wis to AC.. |
| Tempest Stormwind06-29-07, 03:34 AM | *twitch* How did you post here without using the mouse or tabbing through links? I mean, I presume you had to click "Post Reply". That means that links work on your browser, right? If that's the case, then you should have been able to check out the one Arturius provided and I mentioned earlier. But since you're still asking questions like this (when the answer is RIGHT THERE on the link), I can only conclude that you can't use a link at all, and somehow figured out a way to post without using the Post Reply link. I'm impressed. |

| rkun06-29-07, 07:19 PM | Iaijutsu master, its in oriental adventuers so its 3.0 also for 3.5 The Duelist in the DM's G. although this canny defense is +1 of int bonus per level. |
