Help! I need a feat for a second Favored Class [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-20-07, 02:20 PM I'm trying to build a Human wizard 1 /rogue 3/swashbuckler 3, starting at lvl 7.

The problem is that I'll get an xp penalty for this.
But I distinctly remember that there is a feat somewhere which gives you an extra Favored Class. (Not the one in Races of Destiny which gives a half-human another favored class).

Can anyone help? If this feat does exist, where can I find it? I have all the books, but it will take me ages to search through them all.

06-20-07, 02:27 PM Why not just make wizard your favoured class? Then no XP penalties. But it will depend on how you plan to advance from there.

Edit: I'm on drugs, I always thought that favoured class: any meant that you could pick which of your classes was treated as your favoured class but I just re-read the SRD and saw that you use the highest class.

I'm planning on advancing in Swashbuckler only from this point :(

I could take another level of wizard to avoid xp penalties, but that's virtually a level wasted, the only thing I get out of it is 2 more spells pr day, +1 base attack, +1 will save and a puny 1d4 hit die :(
I don't want to waste that lvl if I don't have too...

W2/R3/S2+ Pays an extra level in Wizard to get 2 additional spells known for free, 1 extra first level spell per day, +1 to hit, +1 to Will saves.

or

W3/R3/S2+ Now you take two extra Wizard levels, gaining access to 2nd leel spells, which might be worth it to you.

or

W1/R2/S2+ Gives up one level of Rogue,losing skill points, 1d6 sneak attack and Trapsense +1, +1 BAB, +1 will, +1 Fort.

W1/R3/S3+ is simply not a good idea.
