I about to lvl up to 15 and i am at a little bit of a loss for what feat to get next. My character is a straight dragon shaman fighting with two katans. I have taken monkey grip, overszed twf, exotic prof, twp, improved twf. basicly everything I can to advance my twf up to two attacks with my off hand and with the least penalty.

Now if i take another twf feat my to give me a thrid attk with the off hand, the extra attk will be horrible and not really worth it in my opinion since I already am having difficulty hitting in my game since my dm likes to make charcter with super high AC(i.e. 46).

So, i need help in deciding on what feat to take. The only ban I have is that I can't take the leadership feat. Everything else is ok with me. I am also open to rp options if you think that there might be a cool one out there. :D

Given that you seem to be making 5 attacks with a full atack, why not go for Improved Critical? Weapon Focus could also help.

Martial Study (Overwhelming Mountain Strike) from Tome of Battle. You'll gain Hide as a class skill, and once per encounter you'll be able to take a stanadard action to do an extra 2d6 damage on an attack and possibly keep the struck enemy from moving for 3 rounds. It should help when you're charging an enemy to get into place for a later full attack.

Drop Monkey Grip. It's a trap. +1 damage on average for a -2 on all attack is simply not worth it. Since you have Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting, you'd even be better off with Power Attack (which is generally not a recommended feat for TWF's). The same -2 to attack will net you a definite +2 on all attacks, and Power Attack can be scaled up for more damage or turned off for high AC foes.

Edit: I went back over the weapon size chart and noticed that 1d10 damage jumps to 2d8 when increased in size. That's a pretty decent jump in damage (5.5 to 9 average damage if my math is correct). If you're hitting consistently, it might be worth the constant -2.

From a mechanical standpoint, I'd suggest dropping EWP Bastard Sword and OTWF in favor of picking up an exotic double weapon like a two-bladed sword or a valenar double scimitar (ECS) and simply describing it the weapon in play as you wielding two katanas (flavor is always mutable). That way, you'd pick up a decent melee weapon and still save a feat (which could be spent on, say, Weapon Focus), plus having the benefit of using it as a 2H weapon whenever it's most convenient, such as when making a trip attempt or anytime you're not making a full attack.

Improved Trip would be worth looking into. TWF gives you more opportunities per round to trip a foe plus a free attack if you succeed (so you're not "wasting" attacks), and the -4 penalty to AC imposed on your foes would really help.

I would agree to drop Monkey Grip for Power Attack if you can. If you can't, then instead of having your 15th level be of DS, go Fighter, and have the two feats you take from that be Weapon Focus and Improved Weapon Focus. Completely cancel out the penalties from Monkey Grip, but you still get the benefit from it!

Well guys it sounds like he has already been playing with those feats and he's looking for a good one when he levels.
