Hello! i want to ask a question about the feat "Graft Flesh" of the Fiend Folio, it says "You can apply a certain type of grafts to other living creatures or to
yourself." and the undead graft description says "grafts are formed of nonliving flesh attached to a still-living body." so that means that you need to be alive or "living" in order to have a graft, so if your character is or becomes a lich, she cant have grafts, or if she becomes a lich she loses all of the graft powers, so the question is: does the feat needs alive creatures to work? and does it effects stacks with other grafts that give the same bonus? (like natural armor) thanks a lot, i read the errata it says nothing about grafts, thanks:confused:

Graft Flesh is one of the feats that was over-compartmentalized into Beholder Graft, Undead Grafts, Ilithid Grafts, Dragon Grafts and so one. For my game I just rule it as one feat, Graft Flesh, and it lets you put parts of creatures of type X onto type Y. You have to have some basic understanding of whatever it is you're grafting, however. It may be really cool to put pixie wings on your cat, but you'd need both knowledge of Magical Beasts and of Fey to pull that off. The "Collector of Stories" mini-feat helps with that.

Of course, there's also the whole Fleshwarper prestige class from Lords of Madness. But since there's such a limited catalogue of grafts as it is, it's easier to do it as a single feat.

You can also combine it with Craft Wondrous Item if you want to make your own Hand of Vecna and physically enchant your own flesh, or in the case of warforged, mechanical bits.

I'd allow it, the description just doesn't quite cover having undead characters very well and didn't take them into account.
