| Bra'k'aern08-24-07, 05:39 PM | Can a character make a hide check if they are observed, but have concealment? |
| Dheran08-25-07, 10:25 AM | Only with Hide in Plain Sight. |
| Tsuul08-25-07, 01:36 PM | ditto |

| sparkster424209-03-07, 09:25 PM | actually, it depends. if you have _total_ concealment, then you probably dont need to hide at all, because the other guy cant see you anyway - but you do get a +40 bonus to the check anyway if you are not moving, or +20 if you do move. with less than total concealment, you would need to distract your opponent, or otherwise keep him from observing you as you attempt to hide. see the Hide skill description, PHB 3.5, p. 76 for these and other details. |
