I never played many high level games before, but I'm about to go into a near-Epic campain
what are some feats I should make sure to get?

Obviously, without knowing ANYTHING about your character, we all-knowing of the boards can give you good advise.

Take Toughness lots of times.

What's your base character class/classes? :)

Some are pretty obvious -- Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Far Shot, Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization. It's your call on stuff like Many Shot (on the one hand you'll be of high enough level you can afford to spray arrows all over the place, since you'll probably have a cool Magic Quiver Of Holding Tons of Arrows, but on the other hand your BAB is high enough you'll be shooting a lot every round, anyways).

Depending on whether you want to focus on the "Arcane" or the "Archer," you also might want to look into a few Metamagic feats. Maximizing a nasty combat spell to deliver when you gut-shoot someone has to be a good time.

The concept of the Arcane Archer is really interesting. :) Unfortunately, one of its coolest ability, the ability to cast spells through its shots (Imbue Arrow) seems kinda limited since the class does not increase your spellcasting level (not even by half per level). I guess maybe you can take a two-level dip into Arcane Archer to get Imbue Arrow then resume with your spellcasting class to get more levels and better spells to fire using your bow. :D

I'm using a Fighter variant of Rogue (fighter feats insteat of sneak attack) as my base class with a dip into wizard to meet prereqs
I'm definately more 'Archer' then 'Arcane', so combat focused feats would probually be best

I'm not sure how well it works with Arcane Archer, but Improved Precise Shot is a must for any great archer. It ignores all but total concealment and cover for ranged attacks.

If you want to make a good archer, skip Arcane Archer altogether. Go with Deepwood Sniper, Peerless Archer or something along those lines.

I second this opinion. Give Order of the Bow Initiate (CW?) and Cragtop Archer (RofS) a look too.

If you are deadset on Arcane Archer, look into the Arrow Mind spell (I think that's what it is called) in Complete Adventure, which lets you not only prevent AoOs against you when you shoot, but ALSO lets you threaten the immediate area.

Getting the Outsider type somehow and using Polymorph to turn into, say, a Planetar form wouldn't be too bad, either. Especially in conjunction.
