Ok, I am planning on a character who is 3rd level. The campaign is going to start in about a month so I want to make sure I am planning his progression correctly.

Here's what I got: Dwarf fighter 2 /psionic rogue 7 (found on wizards site). Feats I have chosen are: Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Elven Double Bow), Point Blank Shot, Psionic Shot, Sneak Attack +3d6, Rapid Shot, Many Shot.

According to what I'm reading, the Double Bow can be loaded (both strings) as a move equivalent action. With Many Shot, I can load 2 arrows per string and with rapid shot, I can fire 2 arrows per round as a full attack action.

Here's what I'm thinking. Load 4 arrows (many shot & double bow); sneak attack someone for +3d6 damage. Psionic Shot for +4d6 and finally +1d6 for the first arrow; +3d6 for the remaining arrows that are launched. With Rapid Shot, I should be able to fire 2 additional arrow as a full round action with the use of Many Shot.

So by my count, at 9th level I should be able to fire 6 arrows (6 if I can fire 2 with Many Shot & Rapid Shot) each round.

Is this correct? So if I can fire 6 arrows the damage would be 7d6+1+6d6. That is only for the first round when I expend my psionic focus to deal an extra 4d6 damage.

Obviously at 9th level; 13d6 + 1 isn't too bad so I think it may be ok; but anyway I'm really just making sure I'm not doing anything wrong.

Also, I would like to know how I can deal more damage. Give me your thoughts when you can and thanks for the assistance.

Manyshot and Rapid Shot are mutually exclusive. You can either use a standard action to use Manyshot (it's purpose, letting you move and shoot) or use a full-round action to use Rapid Shot (getting the extra shots there). Not both together.

I'm not sure how either of these interacts with a double bow, but since it takes an action to load both strings, I'd rule that you can't multishot with both of them, but rather, you get to load it, then fire both + multishot a couple extra arrows from one of the strings where you can load as a free action.

Total = 3 attacks (1 base + 1 from extra string + 1 from multishot). Compute your damage from that.

If you use rapid shot you will only get two arrows from one string. The other string would never be used with rapid shot since it takes a move action to load it and using rapid shot is a full round action.

If you take only a 5' step then you could shot three arrows with manyshot.

The FAQ covers rapid shot and manyshot being exclusive.
