| Tempest Stormwind04-29-07, 08:30 PM | Hi. Could someone tell me how's working really the manyshot feat. Can you use it in a fullround action? If yes, can you trow 2 arrows at every attacks? Can you use rapid shot in the same round(and double it to?!?!?)? Thanks! No, no, and no. It works *exactly* as the feat says. The way your questions are worded, it's as if you haven't read it: As a standard action, you may fire two arrows at a single opponent within 30 feet. Both arrows use the same attack roll (with a -4 penalty) to determine success and deal damage normally (but see Special). For every five points of base attack bonus you have above +6, you may add one additional arrow to this attack, to a maximum of four arrows at a base attack bonus of +16. However, each arrow after the second adds a cumulative -2 penalty on the attack roll (for a total penalty of -6 for three arrows and -8 for four). Damage reduction and other resistances apply separately against each arrow fired. So, you spend a standard action to fire a volley of arrows at your target. The number of those arrows are based on your base attack bonus (2 with a base attack of +6, 3 with a base attack of +11, 4 with a base attack of +16), not anything else. Since it's a standard action, you cannot combine it with a full attack (so you cannot combine it with Rapid Shot, which only works on a full attack), nor can you use it to double your arrow output. ALL YOU CAN DO with it is fire multiple arrows as a standard action off the same attack roll. Exactly as the feat says. |

Many Shot does not change the number of arrows you fire in any way shape or form Many Shot lets you shoot the SAME number of arrows as you normally do, (with a penalty), but instead lets you move in the same round you fired the arrows. |
