| Netstorm01-26-08, 07:44 AM | I have some questions about 2 of the 3 mage slayer feats. The first feat Mage layer from Complete Arcane states that a caster that is aware that they cannot cast defensively while being threatened by a character with this feat. Now what happens if the character is invisible and the caster has no spell up that lets him see invisible characters? Does he still know and if he knows does he know which way to move (if I would be standing next to him for example and the rest of the party 10-20 ft in front of him)? The next question is about Pierce Magical Concealment. The feat states that you ignore the miss chance of a lot of spells but what of Darkness and invisibility? Ok you ignore the miss chance but I don’t think the feat lets you se trough Darkness and invisibility to get to your target or does it? If so you still move slower in Darkness and have no way of finding an invisible caster :mage: (my DM likes invisibility a lot), witch means you still have pore chance against a (greater/superior) invisible caster :surrender. Any help/comments? |

Although the person with this feat ignores the miss chance, the caster is still under the effect of the spells. The person stills has to deal with those effects. |

| StruckingFuggle01-27-08, 05:35 PM | I don't know offhand, but the feat index (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats) does. |
| SkipSandwich01-28-08, 11:12 AM | Quick Reconnoiter and Hear the Unseen are feats from Complete Adventurer |
